Eligibility: Open to EveryoneMultiple Term full-time vacancies up to 16 months.The Senior Prosecuting Solicitor, PCS is accountable to the Officer in Charge, PCS for the provision of prosecution services including adjudication, negotiation and advocacy. The Senior Prosecuting Solicitor is expected to manage complex prosecution files and files determined to be significant or declared by Ethical and Professional Standards Branch (EPSB). The Senior Prosecuting Solicitor, PCS is also expected to provide leadership and assistance to support other prosecutors and Prosecuting Solicitors within EPSB.The Senior Prosecuting Solicitor is expected to act in accordance with the ethics of the legal profession.Special Conditions
- The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.
A degree in law and admitted as a practitioner of the Supreme Court of South Australia.Salary
