The Senior Prosecuting Solicitor, Youth is a supervisory position which reports directly to the Prosecuting Unit Manager and is accountable for the provision of prosecution services including adjudication, negotiation and advocacy. The Senior Prosecuting Solicitor is expected to manage and conduct prosecution files across the full range of complexity as required by the Officer in Charge, Prosecution Services Branch or nominee.
The incumbent will be eligible to supervise restricted practitioners under the Legal Practitioners Education and Admission Council (LPEAC), and is responsible for the provision of leadership, functional direction and support to staff within their scope. The Senior Prosecuting Solicitor, Youth, is expected to act in accordance with the ethics of the legal profession.

- The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.

Salary
LE4 - $116,777 - $127,667 per annum plus superannuation
