The Senior Psychologist will be responsible for providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed assessment and therapeutic care for children, young people, and adults in Permanency Support Programs (PSP) as part of the multidisciplinary clinical service. Additionally, they will oversee cross-regional service delivery and daily operations of the psychology service, working in a supervisory capacity within the psychology team.
- Provide monthly supervision and conduct staff performance appraisals for psychologists.
- Manage and expand the psychology service, addressing clinical needs.
- Oversee team activities from triage to treatment, ensuring quality care.
- Deliver evidence-based assessments and therapy, producing timely reports.
- Lead training, supervision, and quality assurance efforts for KARI teams, focusing on psycho-social training and best practices.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Board Approved Supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Possession of a current NSW Driver’s License – minimum P2 and willingness to drive for work purposes
- Willingness to undertake a Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
