About the Position:
This opportunity involves working primarily with clients individually in the provision of assessment and treatment services. Work with a variety of clinical presentations, so the experience is always interesting and challenging.
Use a blend of clinical interventions to treat clients within your own style/approach and balance the individual clinical work with group facilitation and supervision of early career/ provisional Psychologists.
A typical day may involve seeing 5-6 clients under a variety of funding streams (such as Medicare, Work Cover, private payers), writing session notes and reports; and administering assessments in the spirit of measurement based care. Once a week the role may involve group co-facilitation. Telehealth service provision means you may be able to work part of the role from home to balance things.
This is an ideal position for a Senior Psychologist with sound therapeutic experience who wants a rewarding role, across different types of clinical work. The role can be tailored to suit your needs, with negotiable hours to enhance flexibility and work/life balance. Your own needs as a clinician are important and valued at Lighthouse.
