Sydney Olympic Park Authority are looking for an exceptional Senior Publicity and CommunicationsOfficer to join the Marketing and Communications team to drive our media and communications initiatives to new heights.
As Senior Publicity and Communications Officer, you'll have the unique opportunity to shape the voice of our iconic precinct with its rich tapestry of stories and play a pivotal role in driving our public image, ensuring our messages resonate with our audience.
Working closely with our CEO you will be at the forefront of our public relations and communication efforts. This will involve crafting compelling speeches and producing high-quality written content ensuring our voice resonates across all platforms. You will develop and execute proactive communication strategies as well as manage ministerial and departmental communications. Leveraging your extensive contacts and networks, you will lead and manage all PR and media activities, liaising with key stakeholders and journalists to foster strong relationships and maximise our media presence.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in media, journalism, and public relations, with a proven track record of successful media campaigns and strategic communications. You will leverage your extensive contacts and networks to maximise our media presence and effectively promote our message and initiatives.
With a proactive and strategic mindset, you can develop and execute comprehensive communication plans. Utilising your exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, you can craft impactful content and articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant relevant industry experience in a communications role with a focus in media and/or public relations.
