Senior Qa Technical Officer

Our mission is to improve the lives of pets and the people that care for them by specialising in the development, manufacture and commercialisation of pharmaceutical products for the veterinary industry.

We are looking for an enthusiastic self starter to join our team as a Senior QA Technical Officer. To succeed in this role you will be motivated, proactive and organised and possess a Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry/Engineering .

Responsible for the ongoing support of quality improvement initiatives by establishing and maintaining policies and documents, driving change and championing continuous improvement efforts by the department in support to the overall business strategy.

This position will also be responsible in ensuring the Validation Masterplan and Stability Programme of Mavlab Animal Health is adhered to in compliance to local regulatory and international requirements (e.g. VICH, PIC/s).

Responsibilities:

• Ongoing support of quality improvement initiatives
• Create, update and manage SOPs, Specifications, Sampling instructions, Test methods and other quality assurance and control procedures 
• Approve or reject raw materials, packaging materials, and intermediate, bulk and finished products 
• Ensuring batch records are reviewed accurately as part of the release procedures and GMP requirements. 
• GMP/GDP Training and Root Cause Analysis Facilitator 
• Internal and External Auditing 
• Create, Update and Manage the Validation Master Plan 
• Create and Execute Validation and Qualification protocols and reports. 
• Manage Stability Programme
• Excellent IT system literacy. Experience in Computer System Validation is a plus. 
• Ability to be self managing and self motivating
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Review and verify data for inconsistencies or errors and make necessary corrections.
