The Role
An excellent newly created opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quality Specialist to join our APAC Technical Specialist team. In this role, you will work towards actively participating in the design, implementation and/or maintenance of the quality processes in the field service and service center operations across Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide quality assurance support to Field Service and Service Centre operations across Australia and New Zealand with process ownership for:
documentation, procedures, training, internal and external audit, CAPA and non-conformities, post marketing surveillance activities (product complaints, medical device vigilance, and Field Actions), supplier qualification, validation process (IQ, OQ, PQ protocols), change control process and risk assessment
Support and ensure compliance of field and service center operations processes such as: Device Release, Labelling, Storage areas, Calibration, Decontamination, Equipment Validations, Repair, PM and/or Spare parts management
Keep track of Quality KPIs- trending and actions (use of TS systems)
Act as local QMR for Technical Service, Australia and New Zealand.
Support and /or lead local / regional Service QA and Operational projects / initiatives as required
Maintain a strong relationship with the local Services team (field operations and service center operations), and relevant Stakeholders.
Key Requirements of the role include:
Tertiary education in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or relevant technical/technology degree
3-5 years in similar quality role within Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals is preferred
Experience in technical service/ manufacturing environment/Medical Device or Electro-mechanical products is desirable
Ability to understand and troubleshoot technical systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional and pleasant demeanour
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a plus.
Willingness to travel as needed
