Due to Professional Search Group's continued growth in the local Perth recruitment market we are looking to hire a new Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our IT recruitment division.
PSG has offices in Perth and Sydney plus LA, San Diego and Orange County in the USA, with further expansion across Australia happening in the not too distant future. Our Perth Head Office has experienced year on year success since it launched 11 years ago in 2013, and are now looking to add another experienced recruiter into our highly successful IT recruitment team. We are looking for an individual who is up for a challenge, is ambitious and who truly wants to grow in an organisation where the opportunities can happen quicker than expected. We are not a recruitment firm that lives for KPI's and tracks the number of calls you have made, instead we let our consultants manage their own desks with guidance from management.
What you need to have;
- An understanding or interest in the IT sector would be ideal however not essential
- Experience in a sales environment and the appetite for business development
- Knowledge of the recruitment industry with 5+ years experience
- A vibrant and positive personality with no fear
- The ability to build professional relationships and a keen interest in business
- The motivation to surpass achievable targets and a motivation to make money for yourself
- Confidence in yourself and upbeat communication skills
- The motivation to have a career and not just a job
Your Background
This role will be largely based on personality, motivation and potential. The training given will be first class, the potential earnings in commissions are very generous as would be your starting basic salary. We would be open to candidates from a Sales background or from people in technical roles looking to try something new. You could also be someone who has had a bad experience in the recruitment industry previously and who wants a new environment to really try and build something special.
