- Salary: $100,343 to $107,279 (Pro-Rata) - RN2A - Full Time and Part Time / Ongoing appointment
- Promote continuity and consistency of care in collaboration with other AN/MUM and the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager or equivalent;
- Assist the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager or equivalent in the implementation of practice changes; and
- Assist the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager or equivalent in undertaking ward/unit/service management responsibilities, eg. Performance management processes, recruitment, staffing, leave management, rostering, work allocation and attendance management; financial and supplies planning and monitoring.
- A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving 'Unsupervised Contact with Vulnerable Groups' is required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
- A DHS 'Working With Children Check' (WWCC) is required for this position
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- 24-hour, 7-day rotating roster
- Expectation that the Associate Nurse will be available and rostered to backfill the Advanced Nurse Unit Manager role as required,
- The position is located within Withdrawal Services however the Associate Nurse may be required to work within other locations of the DASSA and or SA Health as required.
- A current South Australian driver's licence and willing to drive is highly desirable.
- Meet immunisation requirements as outlined by the Immunisation for Health Care Workers in South Australia Policy Directive. There may be ongoing immunisation requirements that must be met.
