- Degree qualifications in a relevant Engineering Discipline or relevant industry experience
- Extensive knowledge of ILS process, procedures and the overall engineering product lifecycle
- Experience in risk identification & mitigation practices, including seeking opportunities for continuous business improvement
- Significant experience working with a broad set of internal and external stakeholders to achieve common goals
- Excellent communication skills, including technical writing and the ability to develop/publish high-quality plans, processes & procedures
- Computer literacy with an ability to analyse and interpret complex reports and logistics/maintenance information
- An Australian NV-1 security clearance and ability to access/handle Export Controlled technology, data and information

Based at Garden Island, you will join the broader Naval Combat System (CS) Engineering Team within LMA.As the Senior Reliability Engineer (ILS), you will primarily be responsible for providing engineering support for the Aegis Weapon System to the Destroyer Enterprise through the following key responsibilities:
- Conduct activities, coordinate and be responsible for the completion of all ILS activities (including AD514-2 or Change Incorporation Report (CIR)) in support of Engineering Changes on the Hobart Class Combat System
- Work collaboratively with Engineering and the CoA to plan, monitor and report ILS and Reliability Engineering activities
- Support ILS working groups, Obsolescence working groups, In-Process Review and Capability development working groups
- Support the development of Pre-Engineered Change & Impact Assessments (PECIA) for Hobart Class Combat System (HCCS) engineering changes
- Interact with the wider Engineering teams for the purpose of achieving design assurance and holistic system compliance
