Join a market-leading people-centric business as a Senior Remuneration & Rewards Consultant, on a 12-month Fixed-Term-Contract, working in a supportive team, with exposure to advising and partnering with C-Suite. Ideally, April start, and hybrid working from home on offer for the right candidate. The office location is Sydney CBD.This is a true business partnering remuneration role, with a strong enterprise-wide remuneration-related projects focus. You will enjoy the operational and cyclical general remuneration and benefits consulting, be highly skilled, and enjoy focusing on executive reward, analytics, and reporting. This role is directly responsible for the reporting analysis, benchmarking, review cycles, benefits, and strategic advising up to an executive level.More specifically, this role will see you:
- Support the broader People Team in offering well-considered advice on remuneration and benefits;
- Assist in reviewing, relaunching, and promoting the benefit programs to enhance the Employee Value Proposition;
- Evaluating jobs and providing classification advice;
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to ensure remuneration and benefits practices remain competitive and aligned with the organisations framework;
- Support various operational activities, including annual Remuneration Reviews, out-of-cycle salary reviews, business case reviews, policy enhancements, and process improvements;
- Supporting the launch of new systems, adding efficiencies;
- Working directly with ELT, including C-Suite, with essential compensation and benefits reports and analytics;
- Working with the executive reward, including the evaluation of scorecards and LTI;
- Expatriate relocations such as executive migration;
- Managed the online recognition program and was involved in the broader benefits program along with the service awards;
- Supporting key analytics on the annual review process.
- Strong performance and reward experience, executive remuneration as it relates to governance and compliance requirements, from large commercial complex environments;
- Specialist knowledge covering the design, implementation, and management of incentive plans, expatriate remuneration, and benefits;
- Strong numerical analytical and reporting skills with acute attention to detail;
- Effective time management skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, delivering to agreed timeframes.
- Project and process planning and improvement skills;
- Ability to build strong internal networks and adopt a team approach to delivering solutions;
- Have exposure to a broad base of large corporate industry experience
- System Savvy and can advise on optimizing systems changes from a compensation and benefits perspective and system analytical requirements;
- Credible with the ability to partner with all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-Suite, although this can be a development opportunity for those looking for more exposure;
- Must have advanced Excel;
- Provide advice and guidance and broad remuneration policy, market analysis, and programs in consultative and collaborative ways with a strong ability to get stakeholder buy-in. Able to communicate complex topics in a simple and concise form;
- High work ethic, and an authentic disposition;
- Self-motivation and solution-focus, with a pragmatic working style, and strong interpersonal skills;
- Relevant qualifications are essential.
