About This Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Research Fellow to engage in research and leverage of their established record of achievement and national recognition in health or life sciences to develop their international reputation. At this level it is expected that in incumbent will perform a range of high level of service and engagement roles and activities.

This is a fixed-term position through to January 2025 at Academic Level C. This opportunity is available for applicants considering either full-time or part-time (minimum 60%) working arrangements. The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $128,109 - $147,717, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $149,888 - $172,830 annually. As this role is covered by an Enterprise Agreement, you will also receive regular remuneration increases – at least once a year.

About You
Completion of a PhD in health or life sciences and an established profile in research in the discipline area.
National recognition in the area of expertise, with an internationally developing profile and an established record of publications in reputed refereed journal and presenting at conferences.
A strong record of successfully seeking, obtaining, and managing external research funding.
A solid record of supervision of Honours and Research Higher Degree students to successful completion.
A growing record of meaningful internal service roles in conjunction with a strong contribution to external activities.
