Our knowledgeable and experienced team provides technical support for mining operations, and for civil and mining infrastructure projects.
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Resource Geologist, to work closely with our Geologists and Geotechnical Engineers to deliver superior consulting services to our clients.
Role responsibilities will include:
- Exploration Program Planning and Management;
- Database Development, Management and Auditing;
- Data Quality Assurance and Quality Control;
- Geological Interpretation and Modelling;
- Statistical and Geostatistical Analysis;
- Resource Estimation and Reporting;
- Production Geology - Operational Support and Training;
- Mine Reconciliation and Grade Control;
- Concept, Pre-feasibility and Feasibility Studies;
- Technical Reviews, Due Diligence and Auditing; and,
- Training and Mentoring.
About the Applicant
To be considered for this role you will ideally have the following:
- A degree in Geology (or related discipline) and a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in mine geology and mineral resource estimation;
- Accreditation as a professional Geologist, registered with a recognised professional association;
- Experience in site-based operational roles;
- Experience as a Competent/Qualified Person for the public reporting of mineral resources;
- Experience undertaking Technical Reviews, Feasibility Studies, Due-diligence and Audits;
- A strong focus on health, safety and environment, team culture and well-being;
- A values-driven personality with a desire to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team;
- Confidence in client facing roles, with a passion for building trusted client relationships; and,
- Demonstrated understanding of how honest and practical solutions create client value.
In addition, we expect you to have:
- Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship.
- A valid, Open Australian Drivers Licence.
