As a Senior Manager within the Change Risk Chapter (Risk in Change), you will be responsible for assessing and managing risks arising from changes to products, processes, systems, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. You will work closely with RBS Consumer Finance (CF) stakeholders, build intimate knowledge of CF products and processes, and help to ensure safe delivery of changes aligned with the Group's frameworks and standards.

Your role is part of the Change Risk Chapter Area that resides in the RBS Chief Controls office. You will report to the Chapter Lead, Risk In Change – Consumer Finance and will support the Consumer Finance Domain. The Consumer Finance (CF) Domain supports CBA customers who need access to credit by offering a range of options including personal, business, and corporate credit cards, personal loans, lines of credit and CBA’s buy now pay later (BNPL) StepPay.
Within this role, you may support the CF Domain in initiatives relating to the uplift of product and/or services, those leveraging cloud, rationalising CF platforms into new, modern systems, enabling personalisation, resilience and productivity.
On any given day, you will:
- Deliver RBS CCO and CF Domain initiatives and assessments within strict timeframes through effective project management/agile methodology and efficient use of team resources.
- Drive consistency of application of the RiC/Change Risk methodologies within the Domains.
- Support end to end embedding of the Change Risk Management Standard.
- Lead a proactive risk and control culture, ensuring embedment with key project stakeholders and business representatives.
- Work collaboratively with the wider risk team to deliver best practice risk advice across the business.
- Establish performance metrics and reporting for change risk and drive data quality in various systems (including RiskInSite) relevant to enable RBS-wide change risk reporting.

- Deep understanding and experience in operational and compliance risks within banking.
- Strong reasoning and influencing skills to work with senior stakeholders.
- Change risk management experience.
- Passion for data, reporting and insights.
- Being able to independently deliver for large projects and initiatives in diverse environments and interact with all levels of stakeholders.
- People leadership skills, including expectation setting, coaching, and performance management.
