Mitsui E&P Australia Pty Ltd (MEPAU) is an Australian subsidiary of the global Mitsui & Co., Ltd. group and is responsible for driving growth in energy investments in the region. We are focused on establishing a responsible, reliable and sustainable supply of energy to meet growing demands, with interests in various onshore and offshore projects in Australia, and we are a rapidly growing operator in the Perth Basin.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our growing Perth office team of experienced professionals on a fulltime basis.

Reporting to the Lead Mechanical & Integrity Engineer, you will:

• Scope, plan, execute and analyse maintenance and inspection of Rotating Equipment.
• Prepare maintenance work instructions and procedures.
• Prepare the Rotating Equipment Integrity Management Plan.
• Scope, plan, execute and analyse condition monitoring of Rotating Equipment.
• Ensure reliability, availability and integrity of Rotating Equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues and breakdowns of Rotating Equipment.
• Lead root cause analysis and failure investigations relating to Rotating Equipment.
• Optimise maintenance and spare parts of Rotating Equipment.
• Lead Management of Change and projects relating to Rotating Equipment.
• Assist with maintenance and inspections of static equipment, flowlines, pipelines and structures.

To be successful in this role, you’ll require the following skills and experience:

• A degree qualification in Engineering.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• 10 to 15 years of Rotating Equipment professional engineering experience.
• Strong experience with reciprocating compressors and gas engines is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
