About the role
TAFE NSW is looking for individuals with current industry experience and knowledge in the Agribusiness area to join the team as a Technical Assistant - Rural on a casual basis at Goulburn, Thurgoona and Wagga Wagga Campuses.
The Technical Assistant is responsible for supporting the delivery of education services through providing care, monitoring and feeding of TAFE NSW animals and ensuring their safety and welfare requirements are met.
About You
If you have a passion for supporting the delivery of education services, enjoy managing competing demands, and find fulfilment in caring for animals and their needs, this role may be a perfect fit for you!
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Certificate III in Animal Care or Agriculture (Livestock), or equivalent skills and knowledge, with minimum 5 years industry experience.
- Have experience in caring for, feeding, and monitoring farm and domestic animals.
- Experience with operating and maintaining agricultural equipment.
- Appropriate licences for vehicles and machinery utilised in the agricultural and animal care area or willingness to obtain.
- Current driver’s licence and first aid certificate or willingness to obtain.
