About the Role:

The Team:
The pacific sales team is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key participants and stakeholders in the Australian and New Zealand debt markets including debt issuers and capital markets intermediaries.
The Impact:
You will help strengthen the organization's relationship with existing accounts by assisting in the development and execution of proactive, creative, and ongoing client contact initiatives. You will drive continuous service improvement with ultimate goal/focus of revenue growth and retention.
What you stand to Gain:
This role will provide you exposure to a diverse range of corporate and institutional clients across the pacific region, while also providing you the opportunity to broaden your understanding of capital market instruments and corporate finance techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Management of sales pipeline and contracting processes in conjunction with regional Transaction Management team
- Execute end to end sales fulfillment process including order execution.
- Collaborate with Sales team to manage the development and of production of pitch books, pre-meeting strategy packs and other supporting materials as needed
- Collaborate with Business Development and Transaction Management team to ensure smooth client experience.
- Identification of prospective clients through market research and the use of third-party platforms
- Responding to client enquiries in relation to standard contracting terms and condition queries and billing matters.
- Management of an identified portfolio of second tier clients in conjunction with Pacific sales team. Focus on business retention and deepening client relationships by delivering a high level of customer service and client satisfaction
- Co-ordination with other functions such as marketing and Market Outreach to support Sales team in whole of market brand awareness and sales efforts.
- Maintain awareness of the market and industry trends.
What We're Looking For:
- Educational Experience - Bachelor degree holder in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related subject (Preferred)
- Sales / Business Development Experience - requires minimum two to four years in Sales/BD support role. Experience in direct client engagement is highly preferred
- Market experience - working knowledge of the operation of debt capital markets.
- Previous experience in a credit rating agency, financial institution or professional services sales/BD role would be highly preferred
- Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills
- Be able to think critically and reach conclusions independently
- Demonstrated strong commitment in delivering quality customer service
- Demonstrate flexibility and proactiveness to fulfil and drive ad-hoc team or client initiatives
- Excellent communications skills, both written and orally
- Must display can-do and team player attitude
- Ability to deal with people at all levels within an organization
