Senior School Art Teacher
VCE: Creative Practice, General Art & Graphic Design
The Opportunity
Do you have a love of Art? Do you want to be part of inspiring the next generation of Artists? Then we would love to hear from you. Commencing Term 3, Monday 15 July, we have an opportunity for a Secondary Art Teacher to join us for a Full time, 12-month fixed term (Parental Leave) position.
With our students at the centre of everything we do, our teachers are instrumental in the success of our boys both during their school experience and beyond. Our Art Faculty allows our students to work with visual arts and crafts, graphics, 3D design and multimedia technology to develop exciting art and design practices and skills.
With a strong background in Art and the ability to teach VCE Creative Practice, General Art and Graphic Design, you will have a student-centred approach to the delivery of curriculum and classroom management, and you will challenge and support students both pastorally and academically. Reporting to the Head of Art, you will be responsible for working with an outstanding academic team, teaching in leading edge facilities to provide leadership in art and design education.
We invite you to write to us providing evidence of a student-centred approach to the delivery of curriculum and classroom management, and the ability to challenge and support students both pastorally and academically. The teachers we employ have the capacity to teach at any secondary year level and, in collaboration with a diverse and passionate academic team, demonstrate a commitment to the service of others.
