Working with existing clients, building long term customer relationships and managing resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities across Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and New South Wales. This position reports to the Service Sales Manager and is based in Notting Hill, Australia.Your responsibilities
- Selling products, systems, and services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for Energy Industries Business Area
- Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product, systems, and services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
- Prepare account plans using company tools. Performing regular status reviews and growing existing accounts with value added offerings
- Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques
- Communicating details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions)
- Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers
- Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
- Prepare and present offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager. Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions
- Engineering degree preferred
- Experience with account management and Service Sales
- Experience advocating complex solutions to customers
- Salesforce, value-based selling and MS Office experience will be highly regarded
