Senior Siebel Application Developer
- Role Type: Temporary (12-months), full-time opportunity with potential extension
- Salary: DCS clerk grade 09/10 - base salary of $120,859- $133,183 base + superannuation and leave loading.
- Location: Sydney, flexible working conditions available with in NSW
We are currently looking for a Senior Siebel Application Developer to join our team for a temporary 12-month opportunity. The position requires to perform Design, develop, test, deploy and support GTP core licensing platforms using Siebel CRM technology.
Government Technology Platforms (https://www.digital.nsw.gov.au/delivery/government-technology-platforms) is a software-as-a-service provider which aligns with the NSW Government's digital strategy by improving service delivery, streamlining internal government practices and reducing costs. It provides these benefits to its stakeholders including the people of NSW, businesses and NSW government agencies.
The Senior Application Developer will develop new functionality primarily on an existing Oracle Siebel platform. The role is also responsible for ensuring smooth deployment and production readiness of all developed functionality, and post go-live production support of developed applications.
Key challenges in this role will include development of effective software on time and maintaining services to the public and agencies.
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Proven experience in hands-on coding / configuration, extensive experience in Siebel 8+ Open UI development including configuration, eScripts, workflows, Enterprise Application integration (EAI), Siebel REST API, Open UI JavaScript and CSS
- Working knowledge in Siebel architecture, workspaces, server management and monitoring, database and stored procedures, data migration, Siebel upgrade and performance tuning
- Experience in translating business requirements into Siebel design and development
- Considerable experience in a large and complex commercial environment and delivering enterprise systems with high availability and supporting business critical services
- Ability to work closely with a team of software engineers from different disciplines as well as business analysts; ability to work under high pressure and tight time-frames
- Be flexible and to sometimes work outside business hours in order to deliver business functionalities.
- Oracle Siebel Open UI Developer certifications and appropriate tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
