This is a Permanent Part-Time Appointment at 60.80 hours per fortnight (0.8FTE).

About this role

The North Metropolitan Eating Disorders Specialist Service (NMEDSS) has been established to provide a range of community-based eating disorder treatment programs, including: a comprehensive day treatment program, a specialist multi-disciplinary outpatient service, intensive clinical monitoring and care transition coordination between services. The service links closely with other service providers, primary health care providers and tertiary settings to ensure treatment is delivered within a continuum of care approach.

As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the Senior Social Worker provides advanced social work services clients engaged with the service, either in the day program or in the outpatient clinics. In this role, you will provide specialist consultation to members of the multi-disciplinary team, clients, families/carers and other services.

This role reports to the Service Manager.
