Working as a key member within a multidisciplinary clinical environment this position provides a great opportunity to achieve optimum psychosocial outcomes for consumers, families and carers of the Charters Towers, Hughenden and Richmond regions.
Generous remuneration package value up to $141,250 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range of $115,049 to $123,799 p.a. (HP4)
- Annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
Requirements
- It is a mandatory requirement to be and to remain vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Social Work degree from a recognised tertiary institution and eligibility for accredited membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers are mandatory for this position.
- This position provides outreach services to the communities of Hughenden and Richmond, and as such requires the incumbent to operate a class “C” motor vehicle and an appropriate licence must be held.
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check: As a Health Care worker in Queensland Health who engages in risk-assessed roles, you must hold a current disability check (Yellow Card or Yellow Card Exemption) or an NDIS worker screening check, in accordance with Part 5 of the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld).
- Blue Card Checks: Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a ‘working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position. 5.1.
- Influenza Vaccinations – Aged Care and Multipurpose facilities: It is a mandatory requirement to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against Influenza when working in an aged care facility and/or Multi-Purpose Health Service (MPHS) facility in accordance with the Chief Health Office Public Health Direction in place at the time. This Direction may be updated seasonally.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
- 6 month probation period.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
