Job Summary:
We are looking to appoint two Kaizer employees to Senior Youth Worker roles across our business. The Senior Youth Worker will be responsible for support to Youth Worker staff and young people in our care, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures within residential placements. The ideal appointments will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for working with young people in need. The current vacancies we have are for Rueben and Reserve house but our Seniors can be asked to work at any of our placements at any time.

Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Youth Worker staff in accordance with Residential Policies and Procedures
- Assess house checklists regularly and provide input to the team
- Assist in maintaining systems and procedures that ensure smooth operations of Residential Placement.
- Maintain effective reporting systems
- Coordinate with Case Manager on house audits
- Ensure compliance with HSQF regulations within residential placements
- Deliver house supplies as needed
Mandatory requirements:
- Amongst Kaizers current certification requirements, this position also requires a relevant qualification (or equivalent experience in Community Services/Youth Work)
- Proven experience mentoring staff members and implementing quality practices
