About the role
This key senior social worker role provides clinical leadership to the dynamic social work team at Maroondah Hospital, providing professional support and supervision. The senior social worker will also deliver a clinical service to Specialty Medicine patients, promoting positive outcomes for patients, best practice standards and clinical excellence. Within the broader social work and allied health teams, the senior social worker will be part of a supportive environment that ensures structured supervision, professional development opportunities and engagement with research and quality activities. The senior social worker will be a valued member of the Eastern Health allied health team.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
7+ years of social work experience
Excellent clinical skills
A depth of relevant health social work experience
Excellent communication skills and an ability to influence
Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
A strong commitment to high quality care
The ability to lead a diverse team
Expertise in providing quality supervision
Desirable
Relevant post-graduate qualifications
