About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team located in our Bayswater Head Office. In this role you will be responsible for the design and development of ANCA’s new smart factory solution which utilises the latest autonomous robotic technology.
Reporting to the Software Team Leader, this exciting new role will see you provide significant contributions to product design and code delivery. This position suits an experienced problem solver with intimate knowledge of Java microservices and a big picture thinker that can guide and motivate those around them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical design and development of new and existing microservices.
- Working closely with marketing and engineering teams to define, test and deliver solutions.
- Coaching and mentoring of other team members.
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Product centric mindset and a good grounding in lean and agile practices to guide you in delivering customer value incrementally.
- Understanding and application of modern Software Engineering principles, design patterns and test automation practices to create code that is easy to extend and understand.
- Extensive experience in design and development of microservices, RESTful APIs and supporting database schemas.
- You have a collaborative, team-based approach and have experience in mentoring and coaching other team members.
- Experience in one or more cross functional areas: deployment (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud (Azure, AWS), event driven architecture, frontend development (ReactJS), security, AI.
