Senior Software Engineer

Sydney Based - 1/2 days in office, 3/4 WFH                          

This business is scaling up significantly and adding more engineers into their squads. This is your chance to make a big impact, get your ideas heard, implemented and celebrated in a high-performing team.

You will be trusted to build and improve product features across their platform that serves millions of users working across .Net Core, React, AWS, MondgoDB (with a touch of Node.js and some discovery pieces in Golang)

Day to day responsibilities:

• Create engaging new user experience to drive the growth of our self-service customer base.
• Own your work - you see something you think you can improve, you'll be given the opportunity to dive in and take it in that direction.
• Write clean, clear, high quality code. 
• Participate in agile processes 
• Collaboratively with other engineers, designers, product managers to deliver new features and functionality on time to our customers all over the world 
• Analyse business needs and implementation approaches to deliver high-quality applications
• Bring new ideas to the table on how we can improve the platform - from new feature development, process improvements and product suggestions. 
• Drive and increase our monthly active users! 

Who you are:

• C# .Net Core Developer with a minimum of 6 years experience 
• Have experience building scalable SaaS platforms with a microservices-based architecture
• Write clear, concise, maintainable code that you are proud of
• You can explain your ideas and the reasons behind them clearly
• Own your work and hold yourself responsible for results
• You aim to inspire the people around you
• Your an engineer with a customer-centric mindset and are passionate about the customers journey’s and experiences 
• You are able to ask for help and are always ready to provide help when needed 
• Have worked and thrive in fast-pace environments, and are able to take initiative in identifing possible problems before they arise and identify potential solutions
• You have a sense of humor and willing to get to know your teammates for more than just their code
