Salary: $138,596 - $141,313 p.a. (Package up to $158,044 p.a. including base salary, employer’s contribution to superannuation and annualised leave loading.)

About the Role
As a Senior Solicitor (Legal Officer Grade V), you will be responsible for providing high-level advice and representation to the Crown Solicitor’s clients in a range of complex litigation matters. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the capacity to supervise the work of junior solicitors in the practice group to ensure the provision of high-quality, cost-effective and client-focused legal services.
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in managing and supervising the work of solicitors and ensuring the provision of high-quality, cost-effective, and client-focused legal services.
We are looking for highly experienced and talented legal professionals with expertise in providing and supervising complex litigation and/or advice.

This recruitment will also be used to create a talent pool to fill ongoing and temporary full-time and part-time vacancies of the same role description and classification within the organisation as they arise over the next 18 months.
Essential Requirements:
Admitted as an Australian legal practitioner authorised to supervise legal practice by others;
Well-developed legal skills and experience which enable provision of advice and representation in complex legal matters in areas of law in which the Practice Group specialises.
