About the team
The Cyber Security team protects the bank and our customers from theft, losses and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk.
The Identity and Access Technology (IAT) team form a key pillar for the wider Group Security practice. The team manages a variety of key services including Identity Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Authentication and Access Control solutions and services, Workforce Identity Lifecycle Management etc. This team ensures the safety of secure data and services and offers solutions to provide controlled access to key employees and stakeholders.

Here, you can create, manage and optimise the platforms used to power our entire business. You will have the opportunity to take responsibility for continuous improvement, ensuring our systems are simpler, faster and more secure.
You will:
- Make sound architectural decisions on solutions for their alignment to the Cyber Security Reference Architecture and Business Plan
- Develop solutions that are aligned to platform reference architectures, have buy in from key stakeholders, maximise the re-use/leverage of enterprise assets and actively reduce the areas of operational risk
- Develop solution designs and architecture and associated documents (HLSA, SOAP) for a project. Architecture should respond to the functional and non-functional requirements and extend or leverage strategic assets where relevant
- Participate in concept and planning stages. Lead workshops and engage stakeholders as required
- Provide an architectural governance function for the design and build deliverables to ensure traceability of the built solution to the architectural principles and business objectives
- Lead the technical design process co-ordinating the various stakeholders from business and ES towards an agreed solution
- Contribute to target architecture and roadmaps; anticipate growth; ensure scalability; stay abreast of industry trends and assess new products; use KPI's and effectiveness metrics to improve processes
- Participate in architecture reviews and/or audits; define and maintain documentation of infrastructure and technology standards, processes and policies related to Cyber

Technical Skills:
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don't expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalent) will set you up for success in this team:
- Experience in Solution Design, Solution/Security Architecture
- Experience in Identity concepts, Privileged Access Management (CyberArk), Cloud, APIs, Secrets Management (HashiCorp).
- Experience with cloud native technologies, designing deployment workflows, and automated infrastructure via code workflows is desirable.
- Experience with Agile delivery frameworks and infrastructure transformation is advantageous.
- Familiarity with GitOps, DevOps workflows and leveraging CI/CD to automate workflows is highly regarded.
