Mamasita's been open since 2010 and we are Melbourne's leading Mexican Restaurant.
We are looking for a Senior Sous Chef to assist in running Mamasita, we are looking for someone passionate and motivated with the managerial skills to run a kitchen team alongside our Head Chef!
We are a multicultural kitchen serving Latin American food.
We are offering an attractive salary with realistic targets/bonuses attached.
We do feed our staff, regardless of whether you do a 2 hour shift or an 8 hour shift.
We offer internal and external managerial training.
We do give you a knock off, a beer, a wine or soft drink if you don’t drink alcohol.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as Head Chef or Sous Chef for a minimum of 3 years, you will have a proven strength in areas of HR Management and financial control.
Knowledge of Mexican cuisine, ingredients and recipes are essential. Ideally you have experience in a Latin-American kitchen for a minimum of 2 years.
Ideally you’re self-motivated, able to manage and dictate your own time, and are a positive communicator, with a demonstrated ability in ‘bringing out the best’ in a team environment.
You will report to the Head Chef in areas of financials and recruitment.
