The Venue
The Boatbuilders Yard is a busy, sun-soaked venue on the banks of the Yarra River, set against the iconic Melbourne cityscape. Located in the heart of South Wharf we are easily accessible by tram or train. The site is heritage listed – a revamped boatshed that captures the history and charm of the community’s maritime history. We are a 1400-person capacity bar and eatery in a bustling city-edge environment.

The Role
Our Sous team are not limited to the kitchen – we encourage you to gain sound understanding and insight into the mechanics of the business, including (but not limited to) recruitment, financial analysis, and product development. Our leaders oversee various departments and up to 20 staff. We seek applicants looking to make a meaningful contribution to our business from the ground up.
