Whelan Property Group is an established Australian owned, family run, very well respected mid-tier Strata Management company with 3 offices located across Sydney (Ultimo, Pyrmont and Parramatta). This role will be based at our newly renovated Head Office located in Ultimo, on the tram line or just a short walk from Darling Harbour and Town Hall Station.
We are currently seeking a Senior Strata Manager to join our growing team. For the right candidate, the position could include Team Lead responsibilities.

This role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of interesting and exclusive buildings and providing exceptional Strata Management services to our clients.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Management of strata schemes
- Team Lead responsibilities (if desired), manage a team of 1-2 Strata Managers and 1-2 Assistants
- BMC | Community Schemes
- Managing a Strata Assistant
- Written and verbal communication with clients
- Preparing letters, agendas and meeting minutes
- Daily contact with external stakeholders
- Updating StrataMaster (Rockend) with data
- Using FileSmart / SMATA to store and retrieve documents
- Management of Strata Schemes
- Maintain records to ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Attend committee meetings and AGM’s
- Ensure contracts are signed and up to date.
- Follow company processes and procedures and contribute to the company culture
The Successful Candidate:
- Must hold either Strata License Class 1 or Class 2
- Minimum 5+ years as a Strata Manager
- Knowledge of complex schemes, large buildings, BMC’s
- Strong customer service skills
- Well presented, articulate with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An enthusiastic and helpful demeanour
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Strong computer literacy
