As the Senior Strategic Engagement Officer for Cairns, you'll support the establishment of connections in the Cairns region, providing education and information on the Portable Long Service Schemes QLeave administers.

You will be able to travel throughout the region of Queensland. 

As Senior Strategic Engagement Officer you will:

• support the Strategic Engagement Team Leader to plan a (state-wide) program of engagement, liaison, and educational activity that is consistent with QLeave's strategic direction and goals.
• support delivery and implementation of the agreed program.
• provide regular reports to offer insight into key stakeholder relationships and issues.
• monitor and review engagement across the schemes.
• foster regional strategic alliances to gain insight into industry concerns
• conduct and report on educational seminars, customer visits, and on-site activities.
• meet agreed performance targets as an individual and as part of the team.
• manage records using an electronic records management system.
• Undertake activities to ensure a high level of:
  • effectiveness in the performance of all functions.
  • quality customer service, to internal and external clients; and compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures.
• undertake travel throughout Queensland as part of a structured marketing, education, and engagement plan.
• Contribute to the development and commitment to ethical behaviour and QLeave's corporate values.

This position reports directly to the Strategic Engagement Team Leader.

Applicants must have a ‘C' class licence.

This position will require overnight travel throughout your region, and throughout Queensland, as part of the fulfilment of the role.

Travel outside normal hours may be required.
