About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for Senior Advisor - Strategy to come and join our close-knit team. We are looking for someone who will support business planning, coordination of strategy and performance reporting across the Water Corporation.
You’ll be based in Leederville. It’s a lively suburb, 5 minutes from Perth’s CBD. There’s plenty of places to eat and hang out, and you’re only 5-minutes away from the nearest train station - An easy commute when you’re heading into the office.
What the role will offer
You will be involved in supporting the business planning process, as well as development and monitoring of strategies and performance reporting. You will also engage with internal stakeholders and will help drive alignment across the organisation. This role offers unique exposure to the whole business, and an opportunity to apply and develop strategic and critical thinking to a wide range of multi-faceted challenges.
Key skills and experience
Your ability to work through a broad range of issues as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a complex and ambiguous environment is essential. Broad communication, negotiation and facilitation skills will be important when undertaking this role, as well as sound technical ability with the Microsoft Office suite (particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint). Experience with PowerBI will be beneficial.
You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to successfully manage projects and apply your theoretical and practical understanding of strategy development and monitoring, business planning and performance reporting to assist in meeting the Water Corporation's corporate objectives. Being appropriately qualified and experienced in a similar role will be necessary, where you can demonstrate a high standard of conceptual, analytical and research skill and have some strategic planning experience.
