About the role
We are looking for an experienced strategy advisor who can lead and support various work streams within the Strategy and Performance Business Unit. You will be responsible for conducting research and contextual analysis to identify strategic matters of relevance for the Board, Executive and Senior Leadership teams.
You will be a key contributor of strategy development, demonstrating effective facilitation skills, and ability to form lasting relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally. You will have a background in performance management, able lead and/or support in the development of objectives, measures, and indicators in alignment with corporate strategy.
You will be based in Leederville. It is a lively suburb, 5 minutes from Perth’s CBD. There is plenty of places to eat and hang out, and you are only 5-minutes away from the nearest train station - An easy commute when you are heading into the office
What the role will involve
- Conduct research to identify strategic best practices and options available to the Board, Executive or Senior Managers
- Assist the Unit to investigate strategic matters of relevance to Board, Executive and the Senior Management team.
- Lead work streams and/or projects to facilitate and translate Strategy into actionable KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and plans across the business.
- Gather and analyse data and turn it into actionable insights that drive strategic performance discussions.
- Lead the design, development and maintenance of appropriate data and performance governance frameworks and systems.
- Build and maintain effective relationships both internally and externally to enable the successful development and delivery of strategy.
- Build and maintain credible relationships with peers, analysts, consultants, and senior members of the Corporation.
Key skills and experience
You are passionate about strategy and performance with considerable experience in strategy development, strategic planning, and performance management.
Strategic thinking … You believe your experience in relationship building is second to none, supported by your experience in effective communication and facilitation. You develop a good understanding of clients wants and needs and take appropriate action to develop strong and collaborative relationships.
You can demonstrate your skills and sound knowledge of research methods and data analysis principles and techniques, including the preparation of and understanding of statistics to inform business decisions.
Ideally, you will have a degree-level qualification in business/commerce or a related field, along with other relevant experience.
