The Senior Subdivision Officer position provides subdivision services for the assessment and determination of subdivision permit applications and associated street numbering and naming.
What you will bring… (Selection criteria)
- Ability to demonstrate and display City of Melbourne Values - accountability, integrity, courage, respect for self and others, and striving for excellence.
- Tertiary qualifications in land surveying or planning and/or substantial experience working with Victoria's subdivision, planning and land tenure legislation and processes, preferably within a local government body.
- Highly developed organisation, communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work closely with others as an effective team member as well as autonomously; to mediate, negotiate and resolve conflicts and problems.
- Ability to analyse and interpret a wide range of information and issues of varying complexity, including land tenure and title documents.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Windows based applications including Word, Excel and Access and AutoCAD or similar CAD drafting packages.
