ASX large FMCG business with household well known products is looking for a Supply Chain Finance Business Partner
My client is an established, ASX large FMCG business that has been an Australian household name, their products are well known for any households.I am recruiting for a Supply Chain Finance Business Partner to join their high performing team. This position forms a part of the market finance team, which provides financial and commercial support to the Operations/Logistics and Business Leadership team in order to drive long term profitability.
The Supply Chain Finance Business Partner provides financial expertise and support to the Supply Chain Finance team, Commercial finance team, as well as the broader Operations and Logistics Leadership Team.
Role & Responsibility
Reporting to Senior Supply Chain Finance Manager:
- Coordination and management of S&OP (strategic plan, budget and forecast) process for Supply Chain.
- Determine key cost drivers and measure performance against targets.
- Provide insightful commentary on financial performance identifying opportunities to drive EBIT improvement. Clear communication of results to the business across conversion costs, waste, production volumes, and working capital.
- Scenario modelling within Supply Chain
- Complete Inventory Management and Monthly management reporting
- Prepare financial forecasts, and understand gaps to budget, including risks and opportunities
- Provide business partnering support to the Supply Chain function
- Prepare business case financials for national operations projects, ensuring key risks and alternatives are considered
- Monitor financial performance against key national operations and logistics projects and programs of work
Profile
To be successful in this role, the following experience is desirable:
- Degree Qualified (Commerce or Finance) essential
- CA/CPA
- 3+ years analytical business partnering experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experience and/or understanding in manufacturing and logistics environment essential
- Management accounting experience
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organisation and external parties
- Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
- Excellent Stakeholder Management
- Self-motivation and good organisation skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously and also as part of a team
