SENIOR SUPPLY PLANNER

ABOUT THE GRINDERS COFFEE TEAM

The Grinders Supply Chain Team is based in our Roastery in Fairfield, Victoria. Supply Chain compromises an array of function under its banner and the reach extends from procurement of both green beans & finished products to customer deliveries.

About your new role…

We have a wonderful opportunity to join our Grinders Supply Chain team who is based in our Roastery in Fairfield, Victoria, in this exciting role of Senior Supply Planner. Our Supply Chain team compromises an array of function under its banner and the reach extends from procurement of both green beans & finished products to customer deliveries.

You will have an opportunity to nurture and develop one direct report whilst you play a critical part in the business orchestrating the business goals. You will develop a strong operational plan (as part of the S&OP process) resulting in effective supply plans for manufactured items and bought in finished goods via the Roastery, our Suppliers and through the CCEP distribution network. Additionally, this role leads the Supply Planning activities for the Grinders business and ensures customer service expectations are met, in balance with inventory and working capital targets.

What will you be doing?

  • Provide and support functional leadership for supply, inventory and demand planning activities by collaborating within the team and wider business.
  • Manage supplier relationships from an operational perspective (e.g. supplier capacity, supply parameters, customer service).
  • Ensure Supply plans for all Finished goods, raw materials and packaging are right-sized to deliver on customer service and freshness expectations.
  • Support New Product Development initiatives.
  • People leadership: this role leads one direct report (Supply Coordinator).

Let’s talk about you!

  • Demonstrated experience in Supply Planning (raw materials, demand, inventory).
  • Strong ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment whilst maintaining attention to detail.
  • Exceptional problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to lead others in delivering great supply outcomes for our customers.
  • SAP APO Experience highly regarded (essential).
  • SAP ECC desirable but can be trained.
  • APICS qualification advantageous but not essential.
