AddressThe SAAL Board's Sustainable Agriculture team is growing and we're looking for the right person to lead this dynamic team. The new Senior Sustainable Land Management Officer will be responsible for the management, reporting and review of the board's Building Pastoral Sustainability program and providing leadership to its staff. It will also play a key role in shaping board policy and programs relating to carbon, stewardship and nature positive initiatives.
As well as displaying strong leadership skills, you must have honed project and contract management skills and ability to research and develop draft policies and advice for the board. You will need to be a person that values building strong relationships with staff and stakeholders and be able to influence up when required. You will have experience in Sustainable Land Management and an understanding of the Rangelands context.
This is an exciting new role for the Board and we are seeking a high-performing individual with a passion for leading and inspiring others, and a love of the Rangelands to join our team.
