About the OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Treasury Officer to join our Finance Team based at Flinders Street, Adelaide, reporting to the Treasury Manager.

We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight.

You will be responsible for all areas of Treasury operations, including cash management, foreign exchange dealing/settlement, risk management, daily reconciliation of banking transactions and business partnering advice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare daily cash reporting pack
• Partner with Project Accountants providing high quality support on foreign exchange activities
• Raising of foreign currency hedges in line with documented policies and recommend strategies to improve operational efficiencies
• Support Treasury Team and wider Finance function in Finance Modernisation activities.
• Perform reconciliation of banking transactions in Oracle Cash Management
• Approve payments in the banking systems
• Perform month-end reconciliations 

About YOU

• Tertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting
• Understanding of global treasury operations
• Strong analytical abilities, with a proven ability to effectively analyse and interpret complex data
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication
