Your responsibilities will include:
You’ll work closely with the SWIL Lab Manager for AIR6500 to actively contribute to the technical ICT objectives for the 6500 Software Integration Laboratory (SWIL) using ITIL processes. You’ll be an SME to the program and other System Administrators on ICT Systems.
About you:
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or relevant business discipline, along with ICT industry certifications and relevant experience within a similar role in the defence industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience within technologies and domains including Linux and Windows, troubleshooting communications networks, deployment of new hardware, heating and cooling paradigms in computing environments, networking standards.
- Experience supporting, investigating, diagnosing, and resolving ICT related technical issues for physical, virtualized environments, applications, varying OS and database systems.
- Experience using scripting language and automation for the deployment and management of ICT systems, administration of complex ICT System solutions for defence environments and working across multiple disciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of ICT Infrastructure configuration, management, monitoring tools and hardware configuration tools.
- Understanding of Configuration Management and Change Management.
Special Requirements:
As a NV1 security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian Citizens to be eligible and maintain this level of security clearance.
