About the team
Work with different career professionals that are highly skilled with extensive proficiency. The team will develop large and/or complex solutions that require analysis and research. The team is working on multiple projects and this role will serve as a project leader or frequently as the subject matter expert. The project leader will coach and/ or mentor junior technical staff.
What you will be doing
- Install maintain and upgrade internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing company products.
- Propose and implement system enhancements that will improve reliability and performance of system.
- Monitor usage and performance and train personnel on system usage.
- Assist with recommending, scheduling and implementing system hardware and/or software upgrades or repairs.
- Support Web access and electronic messaging services and maintain a secure systems environment.
- Provide new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
- At least 5 years Systems Administration
- Good experience in Linux
- Knowledge of multiple operating systems and related utilities and hardware
- Knowledge of storage management, TCP/IP, network monitoring and tools and technical writing principles • and practices
- Good communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients and public
- Ansible, Bash Scripting, DevOps
- Knowledge of TCP/IP (Inactive)
- AWS, Azure, Continuous Delivery technology (Docker, Kubernates, etc)
- EFTPOS, eftpos Settlement Services (eSS-IPP)
