Our client is looking for an experienced senior electronics engineer with experience in hardware technology and embedded systems. This is an unique opportunity for an experienced electronics engineer to get involved in all stages of design and implementation of projects. You will be developing solutions, and will be managing a multidisciplinary team to ensure project deliverables are met.This is a permanent full-time role and can be based in Canberra or Melbourne.The candidate must be an Australian citizen and be eligible to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.About the Role
- Development and implementation of Systems Engineering activities for a multidisciplinary team of engineers.
- Lead the product development activities of various electronic systems and sub-systems.
- Lead the design, testing, verification, and validation activities of systems to ensure they meet all regulatory requirements.
- Lead and support a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the timely and professional delivery of project outcomes.
- Support the engineering team with proper application of ASDEFCON methodologies, DIDs and CDRLs.
- Ensure system safety methods are applied to ensure safe, secure, and reliable systems.
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5 plus years of experience managing a multidisciplinary team of engineers.
- Knowledge of Systems Engineering processes and the engineering life-cycle within defence or similar industry.
