Our client is growing and is looking for the next superstar Senior Accountant.As a medium-sized firm, they offer clients a full suite of services and strive to provide them with the highest level of technical expertise and business support.
About the role
The Senior Accountant's role is to work with the Associate Director on a client portfolio, including supporting CFOs for larger companies and the Business Services team as required in this role. Although you will be expected to hit the ground running, you will be supported and provided with resources to get up to speed with the firm's everyday processes. You will be mentored and coached on any knowledge gaps to set you up for success.
Responsibilities
- Preparing financial statements and Tax returns for all business types, including Companies, Trusts, SMSFs and Partnerships
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS
- Experience with Small Business CGT concessions, Div. 7A and GST Reconciliations
- Communication with client and ATO liaison experience
- Australian Tertiary qualifications
- Must have 3 to 5 years of Australian Tax experience.
- CA or CPA
- Excellent communication skills with a proven history of working directly with clients.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and managing their time with deadlines.
- Team-focused - have a strong desire to support everyone's success.
