About the opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Tax Accountant to join the growing team on a permanent, full-time basis.
The ideal candidate will have the capacity to operate at a senior level however we are willing to invest in developing a team player that is motivated to take their career to the next level.

As a Tax Accountant / Senior Tax Accountant at Elder's, you'll be an integral part of the team assisting in all tax compliance requirements, including income tax, GST, FBT, international tax, and statutory reporting. You will have the opportunity to engage with a variety of stakeholders and have the platform and support, to develop your knowledge to progress your career to the next level.
Responsibilities
Assisting in the preparation of half-year and end-of-year statutory tax reporting
Assisting in the preparation of income tax returns for the Elder's Group
Preparation of monthly and quarterly business and instalment activity statements
Assisting in the preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax returns for the group
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislative and regulatory changes
Ensure risk, compliance, and reporting practices are operating effectively to meet statutory requirements
About you
Degree qualified with 2+ years experience (Tax Accountant position) or 5+ years experience (Senior Tax Accountant position) in a similar role.
Hold or working towards a professional accounting qualification - CA or CPA
Work experience in a corporate, big four or similar would be an advantage
Sound knowledge of Australian taxation law
Team player with a can-do attitude is a must
Proficiency in CCH Integrator would be desirable but not essential
Take pride in your work and want to work with other passionate professionals
