A Big Four bank in Melbourne is looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist/ Team Lead to join their growing payroll team.
The Role
As a Payroll Specialist/ Team Lead you will be expected to:

• Delivering end-to-end payroll
• Oversee a dynamic team of payroll analysts, officers and consultants
• Ensuring accurate and timely payments while adhering to regulatory requirements are made
• Month / Year End tasks
• Validation and reconciliation
• Manage tickets and work allocation
• Operate as 2IC to Australia Payroll Team Lead

The Successful Candidate will have:

• An understanding of relevant payroll delivery and regulatory environment
• Experience in large-scale payroll processing (looking for 7 years of payroll experience minimum)
• High attention to detail for accuracy and quality
• Proficiency in relevant SAP Success Factors / Chris 21 systems
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Team collaboration and autonomy
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Understanding of additional relevant regulatory environments
• Strong usage of SAP Success factors
• Experience with international payroll
• Team leadership experience
• Worked in a similar professional/banking environment
