An exciting fixed-term (12-months), part-time (19 hours per week) opportunity as a Senior Technical Advisor - Environment & Heritage in the Central Highlands Region! Be a part of a diverse, collaborative and supportive team-based environment.

The opportunity
The primary purpose of this role is to strengthen CHW’s focus on its environmental services including natural resource management, biodiversity, river health, Aboriginal and European cultural heritage, and ensuring CHW meets all of its environmental compliance requirements and supporting the Government’s environmental policy directions. 

About you

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience environmental engineering, science, sustainability or natural resource management. 
  • Relevant specialist knowledge and skills. 
  • Well-developed project management skills with the ability to co-ordinate a range of environmental projects independently within time constraints and budget. 
  • Proven ability to leverage technical expertise to influence, mentor and offer thought leadership in a range of team settings.
