About You
You are an experienced practitioner or applied researcher with a record of delivering impactful disability inclusion and/or rehabilitation related advisories. You have a solid understanding of your sector, and its challenges and complexities, and share our objectives of developing real-world solutions for more inclusive policy and practice.
The successful candidate will share our vision for a more inclusive world.
We are seeking a suitably qualified individual to join our multidisciplinary Disability, Inclusion, and Rehabilitation Team as a Senior Technical Advisor (STA) or Senior Research Fellow.
You will have the ability to demonstrate the following:

About the Role
The role will be critical in developing and furthering the team’s collective work and vision. The STA will lead, develop, and deliver technical advisories and applied research with government, non-government, United Nations agencies, and organisations of persons with disabilities. This may be extended to research council funders for a Senior Research Fellow.
We particularly welcome applications from individuals with lived experience of disability.

The work of the Disability, Inclusion, and Rehabilitation Team spans rehabilitation and allied health, early childhood identification and development, social protection and disability support services, disability data and measurement, climate and disaster risk, and humanitarian response.
We work across the life-course with people with disabilities of all genders and identities. Our work is informed by the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and contributes to realising 2030 Agenda and related commitments to disability inclusion, equity, and leaving no one behind.
