Senior Technical Business Analyst

THE ROLE

As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will play a key role to ensure business and customer outcomes are achieved. As we are growing rapidly, we are looking for an experienced analyst in the payments industry, with strong communication skills and an ability to build relationships with varied groups of stakeholders both internal and external. Experience in card not present payment is an added advantage. We have a hybrid office environment and require this person to be based in Sydney NSW.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading and managing requirement walkthrough sessions with key business stakeholders and clients
• Capturing detailed requirements from documentation, integration specifications and workshops
• Translating requirements into high quality user stories with supporting assets including wireframes, sequence diagrams, design artifacts and data mapping.
• Working with project managers, developers, and testers closely with a common goal of successful project releases
• Ensuring requirements are understood, developed, tested and delivered to specification
• Supporting the team members in project activities when necessary, demonstrating flexibility to jump roles to support the team
• Influencing and negotiating to drive outcomes, including being able to deal with and manage conflict with different stakeholders when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous payment industry experience as a BA or Senior BA, card-not-present domain knowledge would be highly desirable
• Highly driven and self-sufficient with the ability to get things done on time and to the required standards
• Demonstrated experience in producing high quality project documentation, flexible and adapt quickly to a changing environment
• Experience working on business projects/initiatives end-to-end
• Highly collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-growing team environment, ideally worked in a scale-up business
• Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills
• The ability to learn fast to understand our business and clients
• Ability to prioritise, influence and track delivery of conflicting tasks and activities
