About the Role
Join the Digital Workspace Services team at the University of Melbourne as a Senior Technical Consultant!
Lead operational duties for Citrix Platforms, provide top-notch support and platform training to staff. Collaborate with teams to drive improvement initiatives and ensure customer satisfaction. If you're passionate about delivering excellence and driving improvement, apply now!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide technical support for Citrix endpoints, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently
- Offer consultation and procurement support for lab hardware, ensuring seamless operation
- Provide specialised training and mentoring for service delivery team members
Who we are looking for
You will have strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders. You must be customer-focused, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in producing knowledge articles in a Senior Technical support role is essential.
You will also have:
- A relevant formal Virtual Desktop Infrastructure qualification, or a blend of qualifications and relevant experience required by Digital Workplace Technologies
- Advanced experience in administration and troubleshooting of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10, 11) issues
- Proficiency in variety of software applications

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
