Senior Technical Claims Consultant - Commercial Property

What you will enjoy about this role:

• Being responsible for working on complex, large loss claims from $200k - $10 million
• Being the technical expert in the team and providing support to less experienced team members, coaching them through the process
• Managing a smaller portfolio due to the complexity of claims
• Carrying out team audits and file reviews
• Liaising with clients and brokers, explaining policy wording and technical information regarding the claim
• Advising brokers/clients of denials, providing clear written communication to them
• Work on the claims manual with the Manager and also the audit framework

What you will bring to the role:

• Experience in commercial property claims is essential
• Exposure to managing disputed claims to a positive outcome
• Providing support to more junior team members to advance their skills
• Outstanding communication, written and verbal
• Advanced Technical Claims experience
• Strong communication with an objective mindset, being solutions and fact-focused
